Hotel Receptionist

Job Summary
We are looking for an engaging and confident Receptionist to deliver exceptional guest service within our family-run hotel in the centre of Bournemouth. This is a permanent position. Hotel Collingwood currently welcomes many returning customers who have been visiting the hotel for numerous years and some come several times a year. They love what the Hotel currently offers and come again and again because of this.
Duties & responsibilities
- Impeccable guest service skills whilst being enthusiastic, engaging and approachable
- Meeting with customers and discussing their feedback
- Work with and provide support to other departments to insure excellent customer service.
Skills/Experience required
- Current / previous working experience as a Receptionist / Host within the hospitality and catering industry
- Knowledge of standard hotel procedures such as check-ins, check-outs, reservations, dealing with money etc.
- Excellent communication skills with a high level of English speaking and listening skills
- Good organizational skills, multitasking, prioritising and being able to work under pressure
- Good computer skills
- Knowledge of “Rezlynx” reservation system is advantageous but not essential
- Experience serving food & beverage is helpful to support the team.
