2019 Is Looking Good For Hotel Collingwood

Revamped Lounge
Our bright and stylish lounge has recently been refurbished to combine modern comfort with elegant decor. Think plush, opulent furniture and strikingly elegant wall decor – the perfect space in which to relax after a leisurely beach walk or spot of shopping. The new carpet has been described as decadently soft and is the perfect addition to our relaxing lounge, offering tired feet a touch of luxury!
Sumptuous Bedrooms
At Hotel Collingwood, we lovingly dress our bedrooms with the very best of furnishings, linens and amenities to welcome our guests. Recent additions include large flat screen televisions and we are constantly looking to maximise comfort with those little additions that can make all the difference. What’s more, we understand the individual requirements of our guests and are delighted to offer a variety of choice when it comes to bedrooms – from classic doubles in a beautifully preserved Victorian setting to superior rooms for those seeking the ultimate in luxury for their coastal escape. We even provide dog friendly rooms so that the whole family can experience the magic of sunny Bournemouth without leaving your furry companion behind.
Welcoming Reception Desk
As they say, you only get one chance to make a first impression. This is why we have refurbished our reception desk to create the very best start to your stay at Hotel Collingwood. With polite and welcoming reception staff and an organised check in and check out process, your break will begin and end with the greatest customer service. We are delighted to say that we have recently been nominated for a BH Star Award in the customer service category and are thrilled to be recognised for something that is truly at the heart of our family run hotel.
Continued Investment
Over the past two years we have been committed to investing in those areas which may not always be apparent to our guests – but are intrinsic to the comfort of their stay! From new boilers for the heating system to an ultra violet water purifying system for the indoor swimming pool, we are constantly ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest of standards. Our kitchen has been upgraded with new rational ovens, hobs, chillers and freezers to allow our excellent chefs everything they need to produce fabulous food. Excitingly, our executive chef Manash Choudhury has recently been nominated for a BH Star in the “Chef of the Year” category – something that we are extremely proud of.
In the New Year we will be launching our ‘bubblle lounge’ and our new events rooms, the Botanical Suite and Note Room with many modern additions which have been thoughtfully planned over the past few months. As well as nominations for customer service and “Chef of the Year” we have also been nominated for a BH star in the “large hotel” category which is again, something that our whole team is very proud of and is perhaps a reflection of these continued enhancements that we make at Hotel Collingwood.
